Kenton Valley Golf Course is a super par 3 course covering 25 acres, with no holes under 100 metres. The course takes around 3 hours to play, and offers a great challenge to the experienced golfer, yet still allows novices to enjoy their golf. A quiet and relaxing place to play a round of golf with family and friends.

We are situated between Gumeracha and Lobethal in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, only a 20 minute drive from Tea Tree Gully.

Social groups and clubs are welcome to spend the day having a BBQ or picnic and play a round of golf. Bookings are essential for large groups on weekends, and for the use of the undercover BBQ area.

Competitions

We run a Saturday Adult competition both during summer and winter, and a Twilight golf competition during daylight saving time; between November and February. For more details please Contact Martin.

Course Map

Local Rules

1. Preferred Lie. May be taken within 30 cm/1 foot not nearer the hole on the fairway on the hole in which is being played.
2. Out of bounds. All boundary fences rule 27.
3. Creeks. All creeks except on holes 9 & 18 one penalty stroke and distance.
4. A ball lying within two club lengths of any planted trees being two club lengths in height or any staked tree must be lifted and dropped within three club lengths of the tree not nearer the hole. No penalty.
5. Power lines and Poles. If a ball strikes overhead power lines or poles that may support them, on any part of the course the stroke may be replayed without penalty.
6. Obstructions. Tee markers, seats, bins, fixed notices and signs, posts indicating walkways etc, pumps, stobie poles, sheds, nearest to pin posts, tree guards, ball washers, bridges etc. may be taken within accordance to rule 24.2.
7. Roadways within the course may be treated as G.U.R. Definition Roadways: A roadway shall include any gutter created by formation of such roadway.
8. Watering Equipment. A ball having hit or lying near any watering equipment will be played as it lies, unless such equipment interferes with the stroke, stance or swing, in which case the ball must drop away from fairway sprinklers when in operation.
   DO NOT TURN OFF.
9. Obstructions. A ball coming to rest on ground within one club length of fences on the course may be lifted & dropped within 2 club lengths not nearer the hole without penalty.
10. Penalty for breach of local rules
    Stroke Play - Two Shots
    Match Play - Loss of Hole
11. Fairways. Means in all cases where cut.
12. All holes red pegged may be dropped not nearer the hole with one shot penalty rule 26.
